Day Six - Friday, April 20th - North Shore of Oahu
After such a relaxing day on Thursday, lounging along North Shore beaches, we tried it another day on Friday. It didn't hurt that we could go back into Haleiwa and have more shave ice. Yep, shave ice was a highlight of our trip!
These beaches are just so beautiful with the sun glinting off the water.
The signs marking high current illustrate the situation well.
More surfers & body boarders
The sand was fine and fairly smooth.
Why were we on the shore -- well, this sign says it all - No Swimming.
A camera crew was filming and kids were sliding across the sand on their boogie boards - fun in silhouette.
Friday brought us another great sunset on Sunset Beach -- our last one on the North Shore
